Forthcoming events in aid of Azul Wasi

There are a couple of events coming up to raise money for Azul Wasi, a project to help young people in Cusco, Peru:

Friday 30th March, 8.00pm in St Andrew's Hall
An Evening of Improvised Comedy by Amazing Spectacles!

Saturday 28th April, 7.30pm in St Andrew's Church
Concert by former Youth Choir members, most of whom are currently Sixth Form students and all of whom are very talented musicians.

St George's Day Inter Church Quiz (Monday, 23rd April)

Teams of 4-6 people are invited to take part in the Inter Church Quiz on St George's Day (Monday, 23rd April). The evening will begin at 6.30pm with entrance set at £5 per person -- this includes a fish and chips supper.

Electoral Roll

The Church Electoral Roll has to be renewed this year. This means that anyone who wishes to have their name on the Electoral Roll, including those whose names are on the current Roll, must complete an application form.

If your name is on the Electoral Roll you are entitled to vote in elections
for the PCC at the Annual General Meeting, and you may propose people for membership of the PCC.

The new Electoral Roll has to be compiled well before the Annual General Meeting. In order to meet this deadline, please return your completed form by Sunday, 25th March.

Mothering Sunday (Sunday, 18th March)

We warmly invite you to join us for Mothering Sunday on the 18th of March. This family service begins at 10am, and all are welcome.

Lent is now upon us, and we can start to look forward to Easter. Keep Lent with us by doing one of these:


  • Love Life, Live Lent - daily suggestions for action, for adults and children, booklets available in church

  • Prayer Diary - daily prayer suggestions, in church
    Borrow a book from the church library

  • Come to church every Sunday, 8.00, 10.00 or 6.30

  • Go to a special book group evening in the hall, Tuesday 20th March on Mission-Shaped Children, ask Mick to order you the book 350550
