Service Details

St Andrew's has an unusual diversity of ages and backgrounds. You do not know whether the next person through the door will be 3 months or 93 years. Our worship reflects that diversity. Book of Common Prayer (BCP) Communion, Matins and Evensong are very traditional services. Our Family Service and All Age Communion try to be accessible to the widest possible range of ages. We also have regular informal and Iona services in the evening and occasional healing services.

We are very happy to Welcome Families to all of our services, and a play area is available should your children become bored!

The Monthly Pattern

Every Tuesday 12:30 pm Holy Communion (CW) usually in St Andrew's Hall, followed by bring and share lunch
Every Sunday 8:00 am Holy Communion (BCP)
1st Sunday of the month 10:00 am All Age Communion (CW) with youth choir and all age sermon
6:30 pm Evensong (BCP) with choir and sermon
2nd Sunday of the month 10:00 am Parish Communion (CW) with New Voices choir and sermon
6:30 pm Evensong (BCP) with choir and sermon
3rd Sunday of the month 10:00 am Family Service with music group, youth choir and all age sermon
11:15 am Matins (BCP) with choir and sermon
6:30 pm Quiet Eucharist (CW)
4th Sunday of the month 10:00 am Parish Communion (CW) with choir and sermon (followed by prayer for healing)
6:30 pm Informal Worship (odd months) or Iona Service
5th Sunday of the month 10:00 am Parish Communion (CW) with a children's eucharist in St Andrew's Hall (sometimes!)
6:30 pm Evensong (BCP) with choir and sermon

The Church Year

We run special services for Advent, Christmas, Lent, Easter, and various other special days. Notice of these can be found in the pew sheet.
