Over the weekend of 6th-8th July three female Pastors from the German Lutheran Church spent time in the parish. Kristina, Mechtild and Dorit are all ordained ministers running churches in various parts of Germany. They came to England as part of a wider exchange programme between the Diocese of Ely and the North Elbe.

They attended various functions and services in the parish and found out much more about the Diocesan-wide training programmes for ordained and lay ministry and the development of Local Ministry Teams. They also managed to fit in some sight-seeing around the Cambridge churches and colleges.

Their visit was much enjoyed by all those who met and hosted them and we hope it will lead to further exchanges about our churches and ministries in the future.
