Hooray and Hiss

The party on All Hallows’ Eve on Monday 31 October from 4.30 until 6pm was a great time for children and adults. Everyone came as his or her favourite Gooddie or Baddie. So we had a real mixture!  We started in St. Andrew’s Hall with different craft tables where you could make pumpkins and masks or just draw pictures to stick on…

Hooray and Hiss – Party for All Hallows’ Eve

Come to our party on Monday October the 31st from 4.30 to 6pm dressed as your favourite Goody or Baddy. We start in St Andrew’s Hall with craft activities and story-telling and we’ll end with a small ceremony in the Church. Children of all ages (and parents/carers) welcome. Homeless not Hopeless…

…is the subject of an open meeting in St Andrew’s Hall on Thursday 27 October.  Ruth Boogert of Wintercomfort (and the organiser of the new food4food community café) will be speaking and leading our thinking on how to create positive change in our local community.  Come along for a glass of wine at 7.30pm.

What should we make of the riots?

Survey on the electronic organ trial

Our pipe organ needs renovating. For a smaller initial cost we could instead replace it with an electronic organ. To help with this decision we hired an electronic organ, and used it for all the services in June. We’d like your feedback on how you felt about the electronic organ to help us decide what to do next. There are paper copies…

A Little Light Music

Sarah Peyton Jones and friends from the choir are putting on a concert at St Andrew’s on Sunday 19 June at 7.45pm (until 9pm). The programme will be varied and entertaining, ranging from Bach to musical theatre. Entrance is free. There will be refreshments and a retiring collection in aid of Sarah’s trip to Peru next year, where she will be teaching…
